Imperial College Finance Network Launch Event
February 2006 saw the launch of the Imperial College Finance Network. Their first event was a networking evening arranged exclusively for Imperial College alumni.
The first Imperial College Finance Network event was a great success, with the number of attendees in excess of seventy, all alumni from departments across Imperial College and many corners of the finance world. For those of you that couldn't attend, the atmosphere was effervescent, with many business cards being exchanged as alumni engaged in networking over drinks, canapes, roulette, poker, black jack and, of course, the chocolate fountain!
Looking forward, to make it easier for alumni to attend, they intend to hold their next event closer to the City.To quote Professor David Begg, Principal of Tanaka Business School: "If you can't come to us, we'll come to you".
Their aim is to establish a supportive network for Imperial College alumni that currently work in the city by providing a forum for them to network, connect with old friends, and maintain contact with their alma mater. They hope this is something that will last into the future, and will prove to be beneficial for everyone. If you have any questions about the network, their aims and objectives or future events, please feel free to contact Sefian Kasem (sefian.kasem@imperial.ac.uk)or Kate Vinall, Alumni Relations Executive at the Tanaka Business School (k.vinall@imperial.ac.uk).
They look forward to meeting you at their next event!
