BIRMINGHAM FUTURE: Graduate Apprentice
One year. 3 companies. One unique opportunity.
This is a unique 12 month opportunity where you will rotate through three 16 week paid placements within three diverse professional and financial services firms in Birmingham.

We are looking for an exceptional graduate to become the Graduate Apprentice 2009.
Your first placement will be with big four firm, Deloitte. In this client facing role you will be in the tax department where your work could involve financial planning, research, analysis, and organising of data for new and existing clients. You must have an eye for detail, be numerate, able to communicate on all levels, and manage client relationships effectively.
Your second placement will be within the business support directorate of Matthew Boulton College, a further and higher education college in the centre of Birmingham at a new £40m site. The business support directorate covers human resources, finance and general management and you will need strong skills in time management, communication and problem solving.
The third placement is with business consultants, VC Consulting. As part of this professional and proactive team you will be a Consultant working with micro business clients in helping them raise suitable finance; undertake strategic and business planning; and implement effective marketing.
This opportunity would be ideal for someone who is seeking a genuine challenge, has the drive and ambition to achieve results, who would relish the chance to take on early responsibility and considers their people skills to be excellent.

To apply you must have graduated in the last two years, hold at least 300 UCAS points or equivalent, expect to gain a 2:1 in any discipline, and can demonstrate the essential skills listed on our website.
