Imperial College Ambassador visits Melbourne

Imperial alumni and Professor Phillips

Imperial alumni in Victoria enjoy dinner event with Professor Nelson Phillips

On Monday 9 March 2009, the Imperial College Alumni Association of Victoria (IC in VIC) met with International Ambassador Professor Nelson Phillips for an alumni dinner at Esposito restaurant in Melbourne, Australia.

Organised by the Association’s convener David Bishop (Engineering 1965), the event provided an opportunity for Professor Phillips to share the latest Imperial College news and developments with alumni who were happy to hear how well the College is doing.

As the Wirra Wirra Chardonnay continued to flow, alumni discussions ranged from the current economic climate to guessing which members of the group had attended Imperial College Business School. All in all, a very enjoyable evening!
