CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE: The Study China Programme

Funded places on the Study China Programme.

Would you like to spend three exciting weeks in China to learn its language and develop an understanding of its culture, business and life in general? *

Following the huge success of previous Study China Programmes since summer 2007, the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, the Scottish Government and the Department for Employment and Learning in Northern Ireland are now funding over 200 places for full time undergraduates to go to China next Easter.

Successful candidates will be learning Chinese language, attending lectures on Chinese culture, society, history and economy and visiting local businesses. We have selected two host Universities for the programme - one in Beijing and one in Shanghai.

You can expect a once in a life experience through this programme. Our previous students have written glowing reviews on our website.

Please note that the online application form is live on our website now. You will also be required to obtain an online reference from a member of staff at your University and this form is also live on our website now. If you do not want to miss this unique opportunity, take action quickly!

You can find our Facebook profile by searching for our email address - study.china@manchester.ac.uk. We strongly recommend that you join the Facebook group for people interested in next Easter's programme. You can also find Facebook groups for previous programmes with lots of information and photographs.

HURRY! APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER 2009 CLOSE 15TH JUNE 2009.

* Open to full-time undergraduate students in English, Scottish and Northern Ireland Universities and Colleges of Further Education.
