United Hospitals Rugby Challenge Cup
The United Hospitals Rugby Challenge Cup Match final.
The United Hospitals Rugby Challenge Cup Match final ended with an impressive win by Imperial Medicals with 30 to GKT 12.
The United Hospitals Challenge Cup originating from 1874 - the oldest continuous competition in the history of Rugby Football - has now been won by 'Imperial Medicals RFC' five out of the last six years.
Imperial Medicals was formed 1997 from St Mary's Hospital RFC with Charing Cross and Westminster RFC - a happy union, which led the way for other student clubs and societies.
In their own right, 1874 - 1997, St Mary's Hospital RFC won the Cup (most times) 32 times, with second, Guy's Hospital RFC 30 times.
