Members of Physics department awarded

The Physics department is delighted to announce that two of the European Physical Society's Quantum Electronics and Optics Division prestigious prizes for the best European PhD theses in photonics over the last two years have been awarded to members of the physics department:

Fernando Brandao for his thesis on quantum information theory and John Travers for his thesis on fibre supercontinuum generation.
