Legacy Lunch 2009
The Annual Legacy Lunch, hosted by Sir Roy Anderson, takes place on 4 June, at the South Kensington Campus
The 2009 annual Imperial College Legacy Lunch will take place on 4 June, at the College's South Kensington Campus. This early summer event provides those alumni interested in the idea of legacy giving an opportunity to visit the College and meet the Rector, as well as the chance to meet other Imperial alumni, and to enjoy food and music together.
After an introductory speech by the Rector, a two course lunch will be served, followed by a music recital from an Imperial College Student. The event enables guests with a contiuning interest in the College to learn about legacy giving and the work of the Annual Fund within the College, as well as providing the perfect chance to socialise with other alumni of the College in a campus environment. Anne Blake (Mechanical Engineering 1964) - an attendee in 2008 - summed up the event, commenting: "I had a thoroughly enjoyable day. It was particularly inspiring to hear how Imperial College continues to develop ever greater levels of excellence. I left smiling and walked down Exhibition Road still feeling a part of the College despite having left so long ago."
