Electric Futures PhD programme

The Institute is delighted to launch its electric futures programme through the establishment of up to 10 fully-funded PhD studentships available to start in Autumn 2009.

The electric futures programme is a joint initiative with the Energy Futures Lab, another of Imperial's leading Institutes. The Programme will support research to explore the key options for decarbonisation of the electricity system, and the parallel development of all-electric buildings and transport systems. This is a complex area that involves the Faculties of Engineering, Natural Sciences and the Business School. For further details on the project areas  and how to apply visit our PhD page.
