A loving husband, a caring father, and a great grandfather.
 
Upon his graduation from Imperial, Ahmed went back to Cairo, where he was born and brought up. He escalated in his career from University Professor in Cairo University to Dean of the National Institute for Building Research where he stayed till 1972. During his free time, Ahmed managed to innovate and come up with brilliant ideas and owned a lot of patents in different fields such as construction and alternative energy solutions.
 
Ahmed had 1 son, 3 daughters, 12 grandchildren, and lived to see and play with four great grand daughters who all miss him so much.
