Gala dinner to re-launch the Nigerian alumni association.

Renowned Imperial alumnus, Dr Edmund Daukoru (Geology 1964), OPEC President and Nigerian Minister of State, opened a glittering gala dinner to re-launch the Nigerian alumni association. Over 500 alumni and guests attended, including many from the oil industry, to make this a successful event.

The media was anchored by Ms Kehinde Young Harry, the presenter of the popular Sunday programme Newsline. The event was widely reported in the Nigeria print and electronic media and those who attended commented that the event was very successful.
