Arnaud Czaja has been invited to attend this year's forum


Arnaud Czaja, from the Space and Atmospheric Physics Group, has been invited to attend the Science and Technology in Society forum to take place in Japan in October as one of a group of only eight from across
the world.

"The STS forum, the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World and the New York Academy of Sciences selected a group of eight exceptional young scientists representing Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America to be invited to the 2009 STS forum meeting in Kyoto. The selected scientists are 40 years of age or younger and cover a wide spectrum of applied scientific research. Every one of them is an outstanding, outspoken and visionary young scientist whose research plays an important role in societal development."
