We positively encourage applications from all, regardless of race or ethnicity, age, gender, disability, religion or belief.

You don't need a ticket to attend - and there is no charge. It would be helpful if you register online to give us an idea of numbers but you can also come along on the day.

Both events will be held at the Institute of Education, University of London, 20 Bedford Way, London WC1H 0AL.

Masters advice event

Attend this event if you would like to start studying for a masters degree in education or social sciences this autumn term. You will be able to talk to staff from our academic departments; information, advice and student support; and the recruitment and admissions teams to find out about your study options and progress your application in an informal setting.

We offer more than fifty masters programmes in education and related fields at the IOE, which is the largest institution in the UK devoted to education and social sciences.

Doctoral open evening

If you are interested in beginning your doctoral studies this autumn, visit this open evening. You will have the opportunity to have an informal discussion about your research interests with members of the Doctoral School.

Our range of research degrees includes the MPhil/PhD, professional doctorates in Education (EdD) and Education Psychology (DEdPsy), and research-focused masters programmes.

According to the 2008 RAE (Research Assessment Exercise) results the IOE tops the league tables in education research in both quality and quantity. Across all subjects, the IOE's performance places it in the top 10 universities in the UK.

If you would like to become part of this leading academic community, please come along and find out more at our open evening. Please register online to let us know you're coming.
