SCOPE: ThisAbility Event - Wednesday 18 November 2009

An event for disabled students interested in careers in the Investment Banking industry.

About the event

ThisAbility is a free one day event for disabled first year and penultimate year students who are interested in finding out about careers in the Investment Banking Industry. The event will be held in Central London on 18 November 2009 (travel expenses are offered for students coming from outside the M25).

What to expect

You'll have the chance to...

· get inside information on working for a leading investment bank

· network with key representatives from the banking industry

· take part in interactive industry-focused sessions

· hear from high-profile guest speakers

· bring your own experience to the table in discussion forums

Please note..

Applicants should have a recognised impairment under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 2005 - this includes dyslexia and long-term health conditions.

How to apply

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong academic background and show that they have real motivation for, and interest in, working in the Investment Banking industry.

Please note that this event is by invitation only - all applications will be assessed.The closing date for applications is 30 October 2009 - early application is advised as there are a limited number of places.
