Ethos - Information for New Students

A warm welcome to all our new students. We hope that you will find the facilities and services at Ethos second to none. The information on this page should provide with all you need to know to begin using our facilities.

How to Register

You must register online for Ethos. Click on the link below and follow the instructions carefully

» Ethos Online Registration System 

You will need to login using your own College username and password. The registration process will only take a couple of minutes to complete. You will be asked to give a few personal details such as date of birth and phone number.

Please Note: Although you may be able to register for Ethos prior to the start of term, you will only be able to begin using Ethos facilities once you have completed the enrolment process for your course and have received your College ID card.

You must report to reception on every visit to Ethos with your College ID card.

Before you can use the gym

Use of the gym is free of charge for students but you will have to pay a £20 one-off fee for your fitness
orientation, which is a compulsory requirement before you are given access into the gym.

Your orientation can be booked online or in person with our reception team. Payment of £20 is
required at the time of booking. The orientation will last approximately 45 minutes and you are required to wear appropriate sports clothing. You will also need to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q), which you can download here and bring completed to your orientation.

The orientation fee is non refundable, and if you do not show up for your booked orientation you will be required to pay again. If 24 hour notice is given before a missed orientation we will rebook it without any charge.

On completion of your orientation, you will receive a complimentary drawstring gym bag, two free classes, a free bleep test pass, a 50% off voucher for Multipower products and a free Fitvibe orientation.

You can book your Orientation when you have registered to use the Centre.
