LEVERHULME TRUST: Study Abroad Studentships - 7 January 2010
The Leverhulme Trust is offering Studentships to support a period of advanced study or research overseas.
What for?
For postgraduate study or research anywhere in the world except for the UK or USA. Awards are tenable for between 12 and 24 months.
Who can apply?
Applicants must have been resident in the UK for at least 5 years and must hold an undergraduate degree from a UK institution. Candidates must be under age 30 on 1 June 2010 or, if older, need to make a case for special consideration.
How much?
£17,000 per annum for maintenance plus a return air fare and baggage allowance and £6000 for a student accompanied by a dependent partner. Assistance with research costs and overseas fees may also be given.
