DELOITTE: Public Policy Competition 2009/10
Know how to get your point across? Then you could win up to £600 or work experience with Deloitte!
Welcome to the 2009-10 Deloitte Public Policy Competition. We're stimulating thought and debate of topical policy issues amongst the UK student population, and helping boost tight student budgets with prizes worth up to £600.
Public policy is something that is very important to us. If you didn't already know, we work closely with Government clients to address some of the most complex policy challenges in the UK today - from education to defence, and from healthcare to criminal justice. For our competition we're asking students to answer a question that is relevant to the work we do, in 1,000 - 2,000 words.
This year’s question is:
"The current economic climate and an ageing population present significant challenges to Britain’s public services. If you were in charge of a government department dealing with these issues, what key changes would you implement over the next ten years?"
Prizes to suit you:
We know that the holidays are an important opportunity to enjoy yourself, travel and gain valuable work experience so our top three prize winners will be able to select the prize best suited to them:
- First prize - Three weeks paid work experience at Deloitte or £600 in travel vouchers
- Second prize - Two weeks paid work experience at Deloitte or £400 in travel vouchers
- Third prize - One week paid work experience at Deloitte or £200 in travel vouchers
Therefore, not only is the competition a good opportunity to boost your holiday budget, it could help you make a great impression on our organisation and allow you to gain valuable experience.
Competition registration and timelines:
