ACCA: Undergraduate fo the Year Competition - 26 February 2010

Accountant at work

An essay competition with a £1000 first prize.

ACCA Undergraduate of the Year Competition

This year we have launched a new competition for students at UK universities. ACCA is currently championing 'Accountants for Business' and are asking students to demonstrate in no more than 1000 words what 'Accountants for Business' means to them.

* The winner will win £1000 and will be named ACCA Undergraduate of the Year.
* There will be prizes of £500 and £250 for runners up.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates to have something extra on their CV as well as providing your university the opportunity to generate local and national PR if the winner is one of your students. I'd appreciate it if you could make this competition known to your students and to academic staff in your finance, accounting and business schools.

The closing date for entries received by email is midnight 26th February 2010 and for post is 12 February 2010.

Further information on how to apply along with hints and tips for your essay can be found at the ACCA website .
