Student-Staff Committee (SSC)

The SSC is compromised of current students and staff from the programmes team, quality and teaching office, and careers services. It is a platform for students to be represented in their concerns, ideas and suggestions regarding the programme. The SSC is also responsible for organising sports and social events for students on the programme, and are given an annual budget with which to do so.
The SSC is an invaluable tool for us to improve the MSc Finance programme each year, so it is important that the class is represented by dedicated students.
There are currently positions open for:
Chair (1 position)
Social/Sports Rep (2 positions)
Academic Rep (2 positions)
ICT/facilities Rep (1 position)
If you are interested in becoming a member of the SSC, please send me a short statement via email at g.forsyth@imperial.ac.uk.
Your statement should include:
1) Which position you are applying for 2) Why you are applying, and what you feel you can bring to the position (relevant skills, experience, etc.)
The deadline for applying to the SSC is Wednesday 21st October at 17:00.
I will announce the chosen members of the committee on Friday 23rd October in the newsfeed.
