Ethnic Minority Forum.
Public View is a profile-raising event specifically designed to introduce students from minority ethnic backgrounds to the wide range of careers available in the public sector. Through informative presentations, panel discussions and informal networking, the event offers an exclusive opportunity to meet and learn from professionals working at some of the UK’s leading public bodies.
Why should you come to the event?
Public View is open to all students from minority ethnic backgrounds. You could be an undergraduate or postgraduate in any degree discipline. Obviously, you’ll also have a real desire to find out all you can about the public sector as well as the wide range of career opportunities on offer.
Organisations:
Held in central London, the Public View event will be attended by five leading public sector organisations: the Bank of England, the FSA, the Audit Commission and the National Audit Office and the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement.
Register:
If you’d like to attend the Public View event, early registration is recommended. You’ll need to submit a short CV, which should provide details of all your A-level and degree (or equivalent) grades to date. You’ll also need to tell us why you would like to attend. We will contribute up to £50 towards standard class travel expenses.
