Feed the Children International is a non-profit relief organisation which helps provide food, clothes and drugs to those in need.

In November 2007, Feed the Children International donated 1 million tablets of Mebendazole to the Burundian NTD Control programme in order to support its effort in deworming the children of Burundi. Indeed, Mebendazole is a very effective drug against the soil-transmitted helminths (Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura and the hookworms), which are one of seven NTDs targeted by the national NTD Control programme in Burundi.
