CMS/New feature - filter Research Group publications

The Research Group publication list has been enhanced to allow users to filter by publication type and/or year see example on Control and Power site

It is possible to assign publications to a particular research group, and then to display the list of publications in a CMS web page.

The research group publication list has been enhanced to allow the person viewing the page to filter publications by year and/or by publication type e.g.

A reminder of how to implement this feature:

  1. Register research groups. The departmental or faculty web manager registers all the research groups for their faculty or department using the Admin link, then 'Research Group Admin'.
  2. Select research groups in PWP. Each person in the research group goes into their PWP, and on the RESEARCH tab selects the research groups/areas to which they belong. A person can belong to multiple research groups.
  3. Assign publications to research group(s) in PWP. For each research group/area the PWP owner will see the option 'Assign Publications' and a list of all their publications. They can then select the ones related to the research group concerned. A publication can be assigned to multiple research groups.
  4. Display the publications list. The owner of the research group's website creates a page to hold the publications list and puts in a request through the Service Desk for the Web Team to add the Research Group Publications portlet to it.
