Alex Milne wins BUCS Gold Medal for the Virgin London Marathon 2010

Alex Milne was crowned BUCS gold medallist after being the first student to cross the finishing line at the Virgin London Marathon 2010.

Alex Milne was crowned BUCS gold medallist after being the first student to cross the finishing line at the Virgin London Marathon this year in an incredible time of 2:39:26, beating his previous efforts by 43 minutes!

Alex has run over a thousand miles in 2010 and has won various other events this year such as the Herts Cross Country Championships and the London Colleges Cross Country League. When asked what his next challenge is he said "my next main goal is to run a half marathon in under 70 minutes, as that would get me closer to the elite times".
