Seven countries in Cisco’s European network are offering eligible computing and technology students the chance to win a fully paid summer internship with Cisco’s innovation consulting engineering teams.

The Cisco More Together Prize is a Technology Award that recognizes and rewards deserving students in Computer Science and inspires them to become active participants and leaders in creating technology.

The Cisco More Together Prize must be one of the best launchpads for a career in creating technology!

 

Prizes:

  1. Fully-paid summer internship with Cisco's innovation consulting engineering teams

  2. A Linksys Home Media Hub

  3. A personalized FLIP Camcorder

 

To be eligible you must be:

  • A student currently enrolled in full-time undergraduate study within Europe
  • A citizen, permanent resident or international student
  • Currently studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related technical field

 

Here's how to apply:
We’d like to find about you, your ideas and your abilities. So please send in the following:

  • A personal video: no longer than 60 seconds, telling us why you would like to win The Cisco MoreTogether Prize
  • Brief written answers in English to the following questions:
    – What are, in your opinion, the key obstacles to wide-spread adoption of IPv6, and when will they be overcome?
    – Describe the social semantic web
    – What is the workplace going to look like in ten years?
    – What does "More Together" mean to you?
  • An up-to-date CV in English to include:
    name, email, address, country, phone numbers, degree being studied, university you are attending, your expected graduation date, and your availability during the summer 2010 for the internship (i.e. 1st June - 30th September)
  • Specify which office would be your placement preference: UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, or Norway

Applicants will be notifed if they have been shortlisted by 11th June. If you are, you will then have a brief phone interview with representatives from the Cisco MoreTogether Prize Committe. Award winners will be notified by 2nd July.
