A fun and novel way to fundraise!
The great baked potato feast hosted by John & Dorry Brenton to raise money for SCI.
John and Dorry Brenton (top row, middle) had 22 people round on 24 April 2010 for baked potatoes and a "worm treasure hunt thingy" (their words not ours) for SCI. For the treasure hunt, Sam (John & Dorry's son) hid letters round the house and garden and people had to put them together to make the phrase "25p a tablet". The winners got a worm (liquorice bootlace)!!
The Brenton's imaginative fundraising event raised a fantastic £70 for SCI.
John, Dorry and Sam are organising or participating in a medley of events to raise money for SCI. We can't thank them enough for their enthusiasm, imagination and dedication to SCI. The family has set up their own JustGiving page so please click the link and support their hardwork!
