Professor Alexei Kornyshev awarded RSC medal

Professor Alexei Kornyshev has been awarded the 2010 Royal Society of Chemistry Interdisciplinary Prize medal

Professor Alexei Kornyshev from the Chemical Physics section in the Department of Chemistry has recently been awarded the 2010 Royal Society of Chemistry Interdisciplinary Prize for "his many outstanding contributions at the interfaces of chemistry with both physics and with biology".

There is a Lectureship associated with the Prize, and Professor Kornyshev will deliver a lecture at four UK universities during the period September 2010 - May 2011. The Prize of £5,000 and the Medal will be presented at the RSC Awards Presentation evening on 12th November in Birmingham.
