Please note that from Friday 27 January 2012, The Careers Advisory Service is changing the look of JobsLive and introducing many new features and improved navigation.

and enjoy using the changes we have made.

  • Improved access to job vacancies
  • Clearer events listings

Imperial students/alumni

In order for you to get the most out of the services that we offer you will need to complete a registration process with JobsLive to specify preferences for receiving email alerts for events and job vacancies, and to enter information about areas of work that you might be interested in. Once you have done this, you can book appointments, places on events and search for jobs.

To be sent details of job vacancies and events that are most relevant to you, it is essential that you log in and check your details in ‘My Profile' and ensure that the ‘Update Profile' is set to your personal and email preferences.

Please do the following:

  • Login to JobsLive from the following page: www.imperial.ac.uk/careers
  • Alumni & Royal College of Art Student Registration - you will need to re-register your details with us, please select ‘sign up here' from the bottom of the page.
    (Note, if you are a Royal College of Art student, please select ‘Royal College of Art Degree' from the ‘Degree Graduated with' option)
  • Check your details from ‘My Profile' and please ensure that you check the ‘Update Profile' settings to set your personal details and email preferences to avoid being sent daily and weekly e-mails about all events and every vacancy

Employers

Please login to the system using this link: www.imperial.ac.uk/careers  and follow the instructions below:

  • Select ‘Organisation Login & Registration'
  • Select ‘Forgotten your password' and then enter your email address
  • You will then shortly receive an email with a randomly generated password.

Changes to your log in details if required, can be made as follows:

  • Select ‘Profile' from the top menu on the page
  • Select ‘Update User Profile', Make any necessary changes and save
  • Select ‘Update Profile' from the ‘Quick Links' in the centre of the page, then select ‘Contacts and Users' and check that your details are correct in both the ‘contact information' and ‘account information' sections
  • Save any changes and log out.
