SOCIETY OF BIOLOGY: Life Sciences Careers Conferences 2010/11

Conferences at Kings College, London and Aston University, Birmingham.

We are pleased to announce the dates for our LSCC for the academic year 2010-2011:

  • Kings College, London on the 24th November 2010 12.30pm until 6pm
  • Aston University, Birmingham on the 2nd March 2011 12.30pm until 6pm

The conferences include presentations covering a wide range of science-related subjects, a CV workshop providing tips on how to ensure you secure an interview for your perfect job, and a chance to mingle with the experts and ask informal questions over lunch and afternoon refreshments.

For a sneak preview of what we offer take a look at the programme and presentations from our event in 2009 by downloading the documents at www.societyofbiology.org/education/careers/lscc.

Registration for each conference is £10 per person and includes entry to the exhibition hall, the lectures, a buffet lunch and refreshments.

Please note both of the above conferences will have the same programme, with small differences to speakers but not the subject matter covered.

For more information and to register to attend, see www.societyofbiology.org/education/careers/lscc.

The Society of Biology runs an Annual Undergraduate Careers Fair in partnership with:
the British Ecological Society, the Biochemical Society, the Physiological Society, the Society for Endocrinology, the Society for Experimental Biology and the British Pharmacological Society.
