THE HONOURABLE SOCIETY OF THE INNER TEMPLE: Events 2010

The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, one of the four barrister Inns of Court of England and Wales, will be attending a number of events across the UK this autumn.

We are holding 4 regional presentations in October, including our largest annual presentation in London at the Inn - 28th October 2010 at 5:30pm. These provide an opportunity for your students to talk to barristers and to find out more about life at the Bar. For dates, and online registration please visit www.innertemple.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=195&Itemid=186.

We will be attending over 25 law fairs with the Bar Council this autumn, details of which can also be found at www.innertemple.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=195&Itemid=186.

With a long-standing commitment to social responsibility, our ambition at the Inner Temple is to ensure that no one with the necessary talent is prevented from coming to the Bar solely due to financial need. The Inn intends to make scholarship awards to a total value of over £1,260,000 in 2011. Across all four Inns, the closing date for scholarship applications for the 2011-2012 Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) is 5th November 2010. You can find more information on our website by going to www.innertemple.org.uk, Prospective Members and then Scholarships.

Meanwhile, the annual Guide to Becoming a Barrister, published by the Inner Temple, can be found online at www.innertemple.org.uk/downloads/prospective-members/Inner-Temple-Prospectus.pdf.
