NERC has funded a series of NCEAS style workshops, the first of which will start in March 2006.

NERC has funded a series of NCEAS style workshops, the first of which will start in March 2006.
The successful workshop proposals were:

Integrating spatially explicit statistical models and individual-b ased modelling using Bayesian statistics .
Lead organiser: Barb Anderson (York)

Predicting the effects of climate change on natural populations and communities.
Lead organiser: Frank van Veen (NERC CPB)

What are the properties of existing nature reserve networks?
Organiser: Mark Johnson (Queen's University Belfast)

Biodiversity Indicator Development Working Group
Organiser: Jonathon Baillie (Institut e of Zoology)
