The news you have all been waiting for is the winner of the website competition! The competition was tough with many research group pages being informative, interesting and visually pleasing.

The overall winner, who wins £250 contribution toward a social gathering of her research group is...

**Dr Julia Gorelik’s Functional Microscopy research group page.**

In second place, Professor Maria Belvisi’s Respiratory Pharmacology research page with Professor Sara Rankin’s Regenerative Pharmacology group page in third place.

The judges also wished to mention three highly commended webpages. Equally commended were, in alphabetical order, Professor Thomas Brand’s Cardiac Development and Ageing pages; Professor Ralph Knöll’s Myocardial Genetics pages, and Professor Terry Tetley’s Lung Cell Biology pages.

Congratulations to all of the above for your hard work in updating your pages.

We will be showcasing the above winners of the competition on the front page of NHLI’s website. Further to this, we will be launching a ‘research group of the month’ feature which will link a research group’s page to NHLI’s front page. Further details will be issued in due course.
