On Thursday 9th December, the Department of Medicine held a Funding Success Roadshow, to which all academics were invited.

On Thursday 9th December, the Department of Medicine held a Funding Success Roadshow, to which all academics were invited. The aim of the morning was to highlight the upcoming funding opportunties and to hear from those who had been successful in obtaining large grants. The presentations were well received from all speakers, and following the event, a Research Funding Surgery was held to provide more guidance and advice on submitting successful applications. Chrystalla, the departmental Research Co-ordinator, is also an excellent source of information regarding up coming deadlines and the most suitable grants to apply for. Chrystalla is currently working on a Research Support website which will be launched shortly.
