Imperial College Department of Medicine is delighted to announce the formation of a new Centre for Complement and Inflammation Research, directed by Professors Marina Botto and Terry Cook and located on the Hammersmith Campus. The Centre is built on existing strengths at Hammersmith in research on complement, systemic autoimmunity and mechanisms of inflammatory tissue injury. Research themes in the Centre will include:
- Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms underlying Systemic Autoimmunity
- Cellular Mechanism of Inflammation
- Genetics of Macrophage Activation
