Professor Bloom visited the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi on the 14th and 15th June

 Professor Bloom visited the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi on the 14th and 15th June to personally congratulate Maha Barakat on her OBE and was very impressed by the high quality of clinical care.  This is delivered to Six Sigma standard and all actions are monitored and logged by computer giving detailed print outs as a means for automated quality control delivery.  This is state of the art and illustrates the coming approach that will be adopted across the UK.
