Some MSc Finance students took part in an event hosted by the CFA Society of the UK on 10 February in London. They were one of several teams to present an analysis and company valuation of transport giants, National Express.
In a hard fought contest, the Imperial College Business School team fended off challenges from Cass Business School, University of Stirling and University of Lancaster to become 2011 UK Champions.
The team will now progress into the next round of the CFA Challenge, the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regional final in Madrid on 3 March 2011.
The team was made up of Hans Christian Johannsen, Samuel Lang, Fabio Mann, Valeriya Mollova and Christian Scherrer.
We would like to congratulate our MSc Finance students on their great success so far, and wish them the best of luck in Madrid!
