Chemical Biology Across the Frontiers

The CBC is exploring the possibilities of strategic research collaboration with European partners, most particularly with the University of Dortmund and the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology.  Initial discussions have shown that there appears to be great complementarity between our institutes and potential for a wide variety of collaboration.  Accordingly we have together organised a major international Symposium, which has been generously supported by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).

The Sympsium took place at GSK's Stevenage Research site on the 10th and 11th of March 2005 and was a unique opportunity for some 160 scientists and students to discuss research interests.
