Imperial's Rector Sir Keith O'Nions joined the Imperial fencing team for a champagne reception on Wednesday to celebrate their recent gold medal victory at the 2011 BUCS Championships. This result is the most exciting news for sport at Imperial that we have seen in recent times, and we hope just a taste of things to come.

The Imperial fencers had dominated the fencing fixtures at the BUCS Championships on Friday, victorious in both the Men’s and Women’s categories and claiming a stake for themselves at the top of British university fencing. 

This incredible win is an exciting step forward for Sport Imperial, with our athletes aspiring towards BUCS top ten recognition for the College.
