Congratulations to Arthur Turrell
Arthur Turrell has won the Runner-up 2011 "Rutherford Prize for the Public Understanding of Plasma Physics "
The 'Rutherford Prize for the Public Understanding of Plasma Physics' is a prize for which all students currently studying in UK for a PhD in Plasma Physics are eligible. The prize is given to the student who is judged to be responsible for the best example of communicating Plasma Physics to other people. The Runner-up prize for 2011 has been awarded to Arthur Turrell for a very clear item on the nature and properties of plasmas for the non-specialist. Arthur will be giving a lecture on the same theme at the British Science Festival at Bradford in September.
