On 6 April, the Centre for Health Policy, together with the Institute for Government, hosted a breakfast meeting for health leaders and thinkers on the subject of "Putting senior clinicians at the heart of policy-making". Chaired by Lord Adonis, and attended by Lord Darzi, the seminar asked what more could be done to encourage clinical advocates taking into account recent experience of designing and implementing health reform. A discussion paper co-authored by Michael Macdonnell of the Centre for Health Policy and Liz Carolan of the Institute for Government and produced prior to the seminar can be found here
