Professor Maria Belvisi has been awarded the 2011 AstraZeneca Prize for Women in Pharmacology.

Professor Maria Belvisi has been awarded the 2011 AstraZeneca Prize for Women in Pharmacology.

AstraZeneca has generously provided the British Pharmacology Society with this prize in recognition of women whose career achievements have contributed significantly to their understanding of a particular field through excellence in research.

The presentation will be made on Wednesday, 14 December 2011 in London during the BPS Annual Dinner and Prize Giving, which is part of the Society’s 2011 Winter Meeting programme.
