Professsor Conway visits Concern Worldwide in Zambia to talk about Conservation Agriculture and other projects they are working on.

Sir Gordon visits Concern Worldwide in Zambia

Sir Gordon flew to Kaoma in the Western Province of Zambia to visit the Zambian offices of Concern Worldwide to see their work on the following projects:

  • Conservation farming
  • Treadle pump irrigation for vegetables
  • Fish ponds
  • A new hammer mill
  • Hand craft manufacture

Gordon said he was very impressed with the work of Concern.  All these projects were doing very well, although it is still very early days.  The challenge is to make income flows sustainable.
