'Cultivating Curiosity, Creating Connections'

The Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication (CLCC) has launched its Strategy 2025-2030. Entitled 'Cultivating Curiosity, Creating Connections', the strategy - available via its website, and as a downloadable pdf - addresses the centre's overall Vision and Aims for its students and graduates. It explores how the CLCC can best use its position within the Imperial STEMB environment to balance the impact of challenges in our fast-changing world. Building on established programmes and initiatives, the strategy 2025-30 looks to projects and partnerships for the near future, with Aims in five core areas:

  1. Students - Empowering Global, Curious and Resilient leaders;
  2. Staff - Developing an Engaged, Skilled and Collaborative Community;
  3. Impact - Humanities for Science;
  4. Opportunity - Growing Reach and Future Potential;
  5. Organisation - Building a Robust, Agile, and Future-Ready Centre.

The launch of the new strategy coincides with the CLCC's brand refresh project which has seen the old visual identity of 5 static lines, replaced with 6 more fluid and colourful lines - or 'roots' - and thus continues the theme that 'stembs need roots'.
