Theme Lead and Champions

Dr Yunlong Zhao

The research of Dr Yunlong Zhao, of the Dyson School of Design Engineering, chimes very nicely with the CPE's sensors and wearable electronics theme focusing as it does on the rational design and manufacture of novel electrochemical energy storage devices, sensors, bioelectronics, and their integration into 2D on-chip and 3D soft systems for electrochemical and physiological interrogation, and applications in sustainability, future electronics and healthcare.

Dr Felice Torrisi

Dr Felice Torrisi is Champion of our sensors and wearable electronics research theme. Based in Chemistry, Felice's interests span from printed and flexible electronics to photonics with graphene and 2D materials, with particular focus on energy, sensing, wearable electronics and bioelectronics.

Dr Firat Guder

Dr Firat Guder is Champion of our sensors and wearable electronics research theme from the Department of Bioengineering. Firat and his research group work in the intersection of material science, electronics, computing, biology and chemistry to develop intelligent interfaces to connect complex chemical and biological systems with computers.
