The Bullying and Harassment Working Group is part of the School of Public Health People & Culture Committee. In line with the Imperial Bullying, Harassment and Victimisation Policy, our goal is to ultimately prevent and stop any bullying and harassment within the School. To achieve this, we are increasing awareness of how bullying and harassment may arise, encouraging reporting of such events, and promoting uptake of the different types of support that the University offers to staff and students.
Imperial College London and the School of Public Health do not tolerate bullying & harassment. Anyone experiencing such behaviour is encouraged to report this via the Report and Support tool.
Current priorities
- Monitoring uptake of the compulsory sexual harassment training to ensure high completion rates across all job levels
- Collating detailed information about reporting mechanisms, training, and support services offered by the University.
- Enhancing psychological safety so that concerns can be raised openly and without fear of negative consequences.
Useful resources
To support staff and students, we have compiled a suite of useful resources, which include:
- Imperial College London Harassment, Bullying and Victimisation policy [pdf]
- Clear definitions of unacceptable behaviour
- Mandatory and optional training courses on recognising and preventing bullying and harassment for staff, including:
- Contact details for confidential support services
