Diversity and inclusion
Students work with local schools to raise aspirations of children and young adults and widen access to healthcare careers. Working in partnership with communities and GP practices, students creatively address diverse local health and social needs through sustainable quality improvement initiatives.
We equip medical students, educators, health professionals and community organisations with the skills to promote person-centred healthcare and learner-centred conversations through coaching approaches. Our bespoke training programmes are receiving global recognition in the medical education field.
Digital health and education
We are interested in exploring both the use of digital technologies within medical education, and how we may prepare our graduates for the digitalisation of healthcare; including the impact of such developments on student learning, inclusivity and what role these methods of teaching can have alongside more traditional clinical placements.
