PA to Chair in Public Health

The Imperial Centre for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention was established in 2015 by Professor Kausik Ray with the overarching objective of seamlessly integrating ‘discovery’ of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors with ‘translation’ and ‘prevention’ of CVD in the community.

What we do

Our goal is to better understand the determinants of cardiovascular disease and provide solutions which could be applied at population level and influence policy and guidelines. Our work has influenced national and international guidelines as well as informing policies related to cardiovascular disease prevention. We collaborate globally with clinical, academic and industry partners.
