Toilets
Accessible toilets
There is one wheelchair accessible toilet situated just outside the main event space.
Baby change
Baby change facilities are available inside the accessible toilet.
Gender neutral toilets
All toilets at The Invention Rooms are gender neutral. Inside the main event space, you'll find 5 cubicles with a shared handwash area. Just outside the main event space are 3 single toilets with their own hand wash facilities. All toilets contain a sanitary product disposal bin.
Sanitary products
There is a free vending machine for period products located in the toilet area outside of the main event space. Please speak to a member of staff if this needs restocking.
Getting here
Parking
Parking at the venue is only available for blue badge holders or those with access requirements. If you require a parking space please contact the team before the event at whitecity.community@imperial.ac.uk.
There is no general parking at the venue or the surrounding roads. The closest paid for parking is at Westfield Shopping Centre.
Bus routes
We are currently served by bus routes 72, 95, 220, 272, 283.
Tubes
We are a short walk from White City and Wood Lane tube stations. Turn right as you leave the station(s) and walk up Wood Lane. The Invention Rooms will be on your right hand side.

Induction loops
There is no induction loop in the main event space, however there is one available in our large meeting room.
Ear defenders
Ear defenders are available on request. Please speak to a member of venue staff on the day, or contact us in advance to reserve them at whitecity.community@imperial.ac.uk
Large print
Please let a member of event staff know if you require any written resources in large print, or printed on a high or low contrast background, and we will do our best to facilitate this.
Spaces
Quiet space
A quiet space and prayer space are available, please speak to the venue staff if you require access.
Water point
Free filtered drinking water and cups are available during all events.
Steps
The main event space is all on the ground floor, on one level and with no steps. There is a ramp at the entrance of the building.
Assistance dogs
Working guide and assistance dogs are welcome at the venue. If you have any questions about visiting with an assistance dog please contact the team at whitecity.community@imperial.ac.uk
Assistance dogs should be appropriately trained, supervised and kept with you at all times, ideally on a leash or harness.
If you are planning to visit with an assistance animal other than a dog, please contact the team at whitecity.community@imperial.ac.uk
We do not allow pets in to the venue.
