Across the White City Campus ecosystem there are more than 350 pieces of specialist technical equipment, many of them nationally unique. Our occupiers and members are able to access this equipment and are supported by the network of subject matter and technical experts to ensure they get the most from their use.

Facilities include the state-of-the-art bioengineering facilities such as the biotechnology research labs which support research and development across Engineering, Biosciences, and Medicine in areas such as cell and tissue culture, genomics, proteomics, histology, and microbiology. There are also advanced fabrication and prototyping facilities to support medical device development, microfabrication, microfluidics and bionanotechnology, as well as cutting-edge characterisation and biomechanics labs, enabling molecular characterization, orthopaedic research or injury biomechanics testing.

The Agilent Measurement Suite provides cutting-edge measurement technologies tackling challenges in human, plant, animal, and environmental health research. Alongside this partners can make use of state-of-the-art workflows for metabolomics, lipidomics, bioenergetics, and biopharma analysis, including high-resolution mass spectrometry and molecular characterization, and advanced analytical tools, such as ICP-MS, GC/Q-TOF, UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometry, and oligonucleotide analysis, supporting diverse scientific applications.

The wealth of specialist equipment combined with expert support and advice is unique to the innovation ecosystem of Imperial’s White City Campus. No other location can offer such access or support to ensure that ideas and businesses can flourish.
