The Centre for Sectoral Economic Performance (CSEP) is organising the “Future of Mobility” Bootcamp bringing together industry leaders, government representatives, investors, and academics to explore how the UK can best prioritise innovation and investment to drive growth in the UK automotive and mobility sectors.
To achieve sustainable sector growth, investment policies and due diligence practices must evolve to create the greatest impact both nationally and internationally. The bootcamp will explore how to maximise scalable value creation within the British mobility ecosystem, especially in light of global trade volatility and national security considerations.
This bootcamp builds on insights from the recently published CSEP Automotive Sector Review, outcomes of a government-focused Automotive Bootcamp earlier this year (with emphasis on software-defined vehicles), and preliminary findings from a collaborative SDV study between Imperial College London and the University of Warwick, supported by CSEP.
The workshop will include contributions from UK government regarding mobility related funding programs, from mobility investors and companies explaining strategies for fundraising and scaled investment as well as deep-dives into specific mobility innovation areas to explore how government, industry, investment community and academia can collaborate in an ideal manner to leverage concrete project opportunities that add substantial value for the UK mobility ecosystem.
Attendance is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please contact Anna Radomska (a.radomska@imperial.ac.uk), and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
