Our research aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms that enable cells to maintain protein quality, both under normal homeostatic conditions and in response to cellular stress.
We are particularly interested in how the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) senses, responds to, and resolves disruptions to protein folding homeostasis.
To address these questions, we employ a multidisciplinary strategy centered on structural biology - particularly cryo‑EM - alongside biochemistry and cell‑based approaches.
