Mohn Centre PhD Training Programme

The Mohn Centre PhD Training Programme in Child Health is an exciting opportunity to enrich your doctoral journey and expand your impact. It connects you with the vibrant Mohn Centre community, including leading researchers and key non-academic and community partners.

As part of this programme, you’ll gain: 

• Valuable CV experience through hands-on research beyond the scope of your PhD. 

• Training and workshops throughout the year with academic credits, tailored to your interests which include data visualisation, literature reviews, policy engagement, and working with community partners. 

• Access to a vibrant community of researchers, non-academic collaborators, and community partners. 

• Chances to present your work at our regular Mohn Mingle events. 

• Placement opportunities with different research groups to expand your perspective and experience. 

This programme supports your development as a well-rounded, impactful researcher in child and adolescent health.

Get involved

We are kicking the programme off with an Induction Morning on Thursday 16 October, where you will hear more about the programme and learn about the research and opportunities within the Mohn Centre. The event will run from 9:30am to 2:00pm, with refreshments and lunch provided. Please note that advance registration is required to attend. Register via Eventbrite.
